Day Center- Participants of the Center Learn to Produce Beer
From Manufacturing to Production- A beer production workshop for participants of Tsad Kadima’s day center.
Development of exceptional services that will enable adults with cerebral palsy to experience and deal with activities that are not only rehabilitative - this was the mission of the staff of Tsad Kadima's day center in Jerusalem.
The center, which opened in 2013 to provide a solution for young adults with cerebral palsy and complex disabilities, continues to develop and provide new diverse programs for the benefit of the participants.
The production of home beer as part of the learning and treatment process is a new program in the center that allows participants to participate in a productive experience while coping with accessibility challenges, task management and learning.
The program offers an amazing experience alongside the potential for employment, for people to whom employment was, until recently, out of reach.
There are close to 40 participants in the center who enjoy a variety of unique services that are implemented in the model of the Conductive Education Approach.
The uniqueness of the center is in their approach that enables the independence and personal responsibility of the participants in choosing their own goals and activities.
