“Every single life can be improved.”
(Dr. Peto, founder of the Conductive Education approach
implemented and trained in Israel solely by Tsad Kadima)
Tsad Kadima is the only organization in Israel that implements and trains the unique Conductive Educational approach which focuses on developing personal abilities and constantly instilling motivation amongst children and adults with severe complex disabilities so they can learn skills and lead active, independent and autonomous lives, participating in their family and community frameworks and settings.
Tsad Kadima is an award-winning Israeli not-for-profit organization founded in 1987 by parents of children with Cerebral Palsy and professionals who embarked on a life-changing journey to bring the Conductive Education approach (Petõ) to Israel.
We operate in 6 cities throughout Israel - Eilat, Beer Sheva, Rishon LeTzion, Ness Ziona, Jerusalem, and Or Akiva - and we are in expansion mode – having opened two centers in recent years. We are currently embarking on a major capital project in Jerusalem.
Hundreds of children and young adults in Israel with cerebral palsy and complex disabilities participate in our programs and receive the support they need. Our target audience includes thousands - infants, toddlers, children and youth (at our special education school), young adults and adults, their families, and the wider community.
With the oversight and guidance of a volunteer Board of Directors, 80% of the organization's annual operating budget comes from longstanding partnerships with Israel’s Ministries of Social Affairs and Social Services, Education, and Health. Its funding is ensured through contractual agreements. These ministries also supervise the organization's activity. The remaining 20% of the budget derives from private donors, Israeli companies, and foundations and is used to fund the organization’s informal educational programs, for the purchase of equipment, treatment, and the development and implementation of new advances and innovative programs.
