“Bira Kadima”, The First Social Beer, Launch

On a Friday afternoon, we launched “Bira Kadima”, the first social beer, brewed by the participants of our Adult Day Center, in a local pub in Jerusalem. All the bottles were sold! The event was very moving, fun, inclusive and gave hope to those who don’t think they’ll ever be able to gain employment. See pictures here…

Rishon LeZion Center Renovation

After 30 years of activity, and with the assistance of donors, the Rishon LeZion Municipality and many volunteers, we have renovated the Rishon LeZion educational-rehabilitative center over the summer. The renovation included new bathrooms, additional therapy rooms, tiling and more. Tens of children started the school year in a renewed, accessible and inviting center that allows them and the dedicated staff to take another step forward.

2017 Summer Camp

This year, the summer camp took place in Nitzan, a settlement down south. Forty participants spent five days of fun, went to the beach, swam in the pool, enjoyed a variety of activities, alongside rehabilitative workshops. The summer camp is one of the only opportunity the participants have to get up out of their wheelchairs with the help of the staff, and enjoy a true summer experience with their friends, away from home. The Tsad Kadima Olympics

Shot put, tug-of-war, shooting a bow and arrow, relay races and more. That’s how the children of the Rishon LeZion educational-rehabilitative center spent their Friday. Engineers from Israel Aerospace Industries’ MLM Devision, together with Milbat, created a special and accessible day of fun. As part of Tsad Kadim’a inclusion program, the neighboring school, “Eshkolot”, joined in the activities.
