Bar Mitzvah in Tsad Kadima for Boys with Cerebral Palsy
Tsad Kadima and the Conservative movement in Israel embarked on a special project in preparation for becoming a Bar Mitzvah. In preparation for going up to the Torah, the Bar Mitzvah boys were given Jewish enrichment lessons and preparation for the age of mitzvot.
At the meetings, the Bar Mitzvah boys shared their feelings, learned about becoming a Bar Mitzvah, the prayers, tefillin, putting on a kippah, and more.
At the end, the Bar Mitzvah boys celebrated together and went up to the Torah at a joint ceremony at the synagogue Yediday Nefesh.
Children of the organization invite kids of Bar and Bat Mitzvah age that are coming to Israel, to visit the organization and to mark their Bar Mitzvah with special social activities with the children of Tsad Kadima.
